On November 22, 2024, at the Ammari Hotel, Vang Vieng District, Vientiane Province, the SME Service Center held a consultation meeting to review the implementation of work with development partners to strengthen SMEs in the Lao PDR. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Daovone Phachanthavong, Vice President of the Lao PDR. The participants were representatives of the SME Service Centers in all 6 provinces (Luang Prabang, Champasak, Savannakhet, Oudomxay, Borikhamxay and Luang Namtha), representatives from the government and banks. The meeting was supported by the Asia Foundation and the Australian Embassy, the Lao Foreign Trade Bank Public Company Limited, the Sacombank Bank, and LNCB Bank.
