On December 6, 2024, the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Small and Medium Enterprise Service Center, organized a seminar titled “Economic Outlook For Lao SMEs 2025” to create an understanding of economic trends and analyze the overall economic trends of the region and the world economy in 2025 so that MSMEs have a vision and are prepared to cope with economic changes, to adapt to public-private partnerships.

And to open up opportunities for MSMEs in the Lao PDR to grow economically, create jobs, and improve the business ecosystem to be of better quality, able to compete with imported goods, and able to export to regional and international markets. The speaker at this seminar was Dr. Nara Kittimetikul, an economic expert from Thailand; participants at this event included both the government and business sectors and were chaired by Mr. Daovone Phachanthavong, Vice President of the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
